Senior Data Ops Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Ops Engineer with the following requirements:

Job Description: Analysis Tooling - Senior Data Ops EngineerDrive performance improvements, cost optimisation, and forward-looking architectural patterns across the Redshift data warehouse. Provide stakeholder support for analytical and ad-hoc workloads, while maintaining high performance of Data APIs, Customer Data Platform and other BAU services.

• Language: Good English;

• 5+ years of experience as DataOps Engineer or similar role covering the most of required skills;
• Expertise with databases (Database: Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB);
• Expertise in Cloud architecture and key technologies (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Managed Airflow, Athena, etc);
• Expertise of infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, CloudFormation);
• Expertise with advance AWS Networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink) and securing network configuration;
• Experience in at least one of the programming languages such as Python, Java;
• Expertise Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing practices to ensure functionality, security and performance;
• Expertise in system integration using variety of techniques (REST API, SQS, SNS, Kinesis);
• Expertise in modern development tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, Observability, Pair Programming);
• Expertise in choosing and applying design patterns and best practices;
• Developing software with scale, security and reliability in mind;

• Duration: Long Term Contract.
• Location: Remote, Portugal. Candidates must be living in Portugal.
