Data Engineer Expert

We are looking for a Data Engineer Expert with the following requirements:

1. Service Context
Project-based service delivery covering project initiatives and BAU activities related to data products provided by Data, BI & Analytics.

2. Service Scope (but not limited to)
Design, development and testing of new applications, as well as evolution and maintenance of existing components;
Implementation of technical components in alignment with project planning milestones and agreed coordination practices;
Ensuring the quality, robustness and operational reliability of the applications;
Contributing to the quality of service of Big Data & BI platforms through preventive and corrective technical actions.

3. Service Deliverables (but not limited to)
Implementation of logging and error-handling mechanisms, system monitoring, construction of fault-tolerant data pipelines, continuous integration practices, database administration activities, data cleansing maintenance and deterministic pipeline implementation;
Development using programming languages and technologies such as C#, Java, Python, Ruby, Scala, SQL and Apache Spark;
Delivery of data integration solutions using ETL tools and REST-oriented APIs to enable structured access to prepared datasets for data analysts and business users.

4. Required Expertise
Designing, building, testing and maintaining Big Data & BI components using Microsoft and Azure tools;
Ensuring reliability and performance of reporting applications;
Contributing to project interactions and coordination activities related to scope definition, planning alignment and testing phases.

5. Service Qualifications
Expertise – Must Have:
Proven consulting or development expertise on Microsoft Data technologies (3–5 years);
Confirmed expertise on Big Data environments, including Databricks (Python and Spark);
Strong technical development orientation.
Expertise – Nice to Have:
Expertise on Azure development components: DevOps tools, Data Lake Gen2, Data Factory v2;
Azure Analysis Services – Tabular (DAX);
SQL Server suite (on premises);
SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services);
T-SQL (Transact-SQL);
Power BI;
Scala development;
Expertise in performance optimization of data processing;
Ability to operate in an English-speaking delivery environment.
