We are looking for a Java Backend - Mid with the following requirements:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.

- Expert proficiency in Java Spring is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microservices Architecture is recommended.
- Advanced proficiency in Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), Docker Kubernetes Architecture, MongoDB, and MySQL is suggested.
- Take ownership of specific software components and ensure their quality and performance meet project standards.
- Support and guide less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical solutions that align with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software features.
- Analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutions that improve system efficiency and reliability.

Duration: Long Term Contract.
Location: Lisbon - Work model: 3 days per week in the office and 2 days at home.
