FinOPS Technical Expert

We are seeking of FinOps Expert Service to join Group Operations to support two application product lines in their FinOps journey. The main Service mission is to optimize our cloud financial management and ensure cost efficiency across our cloud services.

The Service will be responsible for bridge the gap between finance, engineering, and operations by implementing best practices for cloud cost management, budgeting, and forecasting. The Service will promote financial accountability and transparency within our cloud infrastructure.

Service Mission :
• Implement FinOps strategies, policies, and best practices aligned to Group standards to control cloud spending.
• Expertise of product management and finance processes
o Service with Client Products on product management and product finance processes and recharging mechanisms
o Support Budget/Forecast and Cost Optimization target setting processes
o Service across product, engineering and architecture teams to identify cost optimizations while not endangering quality of service
• Drive governance activities
o Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs and usage across multiple cloud platforms to drive cost visibility and transparency of Cloud costs across the product lines
o Provide regular reports and insights on cloud spend, trends, and anomalies to stakeholders
o Expertise on cross-functional communication for promotting the culture of financial accountability
o Implement tools and automation for cost tracking, reporting, and optimization

Expertise :
• Expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• Expertise in Cloud operations and/or financial management, expertise with cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, financial and systems for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
• Expertise of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their billing structures.
• Expertise in IT asset management or cost accounting
• Certification from Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or FinOps Foundation
• Conduct and present analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
• Expertise in financial and analytical expertise
• Expertise of Microsoft Office Suite & Power BI required (extensive expertise of Excel required)
• Expertise with IBM Cloudability
• Expertise on computer science, Financials
• English mandatory

Duration: Long Term Contract.
Location: Lisbon
Work model: hybrid with at least 2 days at the office
