Java Backend - Senior (Lead the design)

We are looking for a Java Back end - Senior (Lead the design) with the following requirements:

Language: English and Portuguese - C1

Responsibilities:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams is a critical part of this role.
Expert proficiency in Java Spring is required.
Advanced proficiency in Microservices Architecture, MySQL, MongoDB, Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), and Docker Kubernetes Architecture is suggested.           
Drive the design and implementation of robust software components that meet evolving business requirements.            
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.             
Analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative approaches to improve system performance and scalability.          
Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.         
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance project outcomes.

• Lead the design and implementation of complex Java microservices across Unified Commerce products.
• Define and enforce architectural patterns, coding standards, and security practices for the squad.
• Own the IAM strategy for Unified Commerce: Keycloak realm design, Okta federation, and OIDC flow architecture.
• Drive technical discussions with business group product owners and architects; represent the engineering team.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security vulnerabilities.
• Lead code reviews and establish quality gates; champion SonarQube and Snyk adoption.
• Mentor Confirmed and Junior engineers.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture decision records (ADRs), and runbooks.
