UX Design Lead

We are looking for a UX Design Lead with the following requirements:

1. Service Context
We are seeking an experienced Product Design profile to contribute to the creation of an exceptional user experience for Secure GPT, our GenAI web interface. The mission focuses on understanding user needs, designing intuitive experiences, and contributing to the delivery of a seamless and visually appealing interface in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.


2. Service Scope (not limited to)

- Discovery
Conduct user research activities to assess user behavior, usage patterns, needs, and motivations
Facilitate ideation and workshop sessions with relevant stakeholders to define and refine feature opportunities
Conduct user interviews to collect qualitative insights
Contribute to feature ideation through benchmarking and competitive analysis

- Design
Design end-to-end experiences for Secure GPT, covering onboarding journeys through advanced functionalities
Develop user flows and experience designs addressing identified user needs and business objectives
Prototype, iterate, and deliver design solutions, transforming concepts into tangible user experiences
Contribute to and maintain the design system, ensuring visual consistency and quality standards
Collaboration
Collaborate with business, product, and technical stakeholders throughout the mission
Present design concepts, rationale, findings, and prototypes in English to relevant audiences

3. Service Deliverables (not limited to)
User research outputs and analysis
User interview preparation materials and synthesis of findings
Benchmarking and competitive analysis documents
User flows, wireframes, interface designs, and experience specifications
Interactive prototypes and iterative design assets
Contributions to the Secure GPT design system
Presentation materials supporting design recommendations and demonstrations

4. Required Expertise

- Mandatory Expertise
Minimum 3 years of expertise in Product Design for web applications (senior-level expertise expected)
Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools, supported by strong expertise in user-centered design methodologies
Demonstrated expertise in facilitating ideation sessions and conducting user interviews
Strong portfolio demonstrating design explorations and delivered solutions
Ability to autonomously drive design activities and produce outcomes within agreed timelines
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and share findings and recommendations
Fluent English with the ability to clearly present concepts, deliverables, and design rationale
Appreciated Expertise
Expertise with consumer-facing digital products, particularly AI and conversational interfaces, is considered a plus
French language capability is considered a plus

5. Service Qualifications
English: Independent user (B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
French: Considered a plus
Ability to travel and provide services from other European countries for short periods when required by the mission context


Mission allocation: Part-time engagement, 3 days per week.
Location: Lisbon - Hybrid
